PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bronco (ranked 985 p4p, 468 weight class) and Manuel Silva (ranked 149 p4p, 70 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bronco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a shot to the body.
Bronco has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bronco there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bronco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva throws a leg kick but Bronco moved away.
A quick step to the side and Bronco tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bronco throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bronco looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Silva cracks Bronco with a big elbow.
Bronco is looking to reverse the position.
Bronco is working hard here to advance position.
Bronco parries the strikes from Silva easily there. Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bronco to escape.

My spies in Randall's Top Team inform me that Silva has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Bronco manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Bronco is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
Silva just trying to survive but Bronco is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bronco haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
