The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Defoe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Defoe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Defoe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Defoe appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Defoe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Defoe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jospin doesn't seem bothered though.
