Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Genji Kamogawa (ranked 1627 p4p, 791 weight class) and Kazuo Takashi (ranked 99 p4p, 46 weight class). Kamogawa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Veer Union - Bitter End. Takashi has chosen 吉田兄弟 Rising as his entrance music. Genji Kamogawa had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kazuo Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takashi has closed the distance and engaged Kamogawa in a clinch.

Kamogawa lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Takashi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Takashi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kamogawa is really struggling to control Takashi but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Takashi has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island project. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Kamogawa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Takashi has his foot on Kamogawa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kamogawa works his way back into a safe position though.

Kamogawa has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Takashi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kamogawa is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Takashi pulls down on the head and he's put Kamogawa to sleep! This one is all over!

Kazuo Takashi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
