Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilhelm Bar (ranked 1082 p4p, 1590 weight class) and Gator Boudreaux (ranked 165 p4p, 224 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boudreaux tries to avoid it but Bar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boudreaux to the ground. Boudreaux escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It seemed like Boudreaux was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Bar trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Boudreaux manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Bar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boudreaux has picked Bar up and slammed him! Bar can't keep hold of the triangle and Boudreaux manages to pass to side control!
Bar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boudreaux wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boudreaux stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Oh but Bar is tightening it up a little... Boudreaux has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Boudreaux reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Boudreaux taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bar!
