Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ibrahim Camara (ranked 66 p4p, 37 weight class) and Gaultier Girard (ranked 12 p4p, 7 weight class). Gaultier Girard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ibrahim Camara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaultier Girard!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girard throws a body kick that misses
and Camara counters with a stiff right hand.

Camara has taken the fight to the clinch.
Girard avoids a wild elbow strike from Camara.
Girard fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Camara lands an elbow inside that Girard shrugs off.
Girard takes an elbow to the temple.
Camara lands with a right to the head.
Girard lands a left hand that snaps the head of Camara backwards.

Girard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Camara misses with an attempted mid kick.
Camara sizes up Girard with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Camara checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Girard throws a leg kick but Camara sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Girard counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Ibrahim Camara has been cut.
Camara changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Camara lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Girard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Camara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Girard tries to move into range but Camara moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Girard misses with a looping left.
Girard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Camara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Girard crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Camara - the referee stops the clock and Girard gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Camara. Girard manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Camara lands with an uppercut that bounces Girard off the cage and back into range.
A thudding body kick lands there by Girard!
Camara tries to clinch up.
Camara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Good work by Girard as he checks the leg kick.
Girard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Camara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Girard cracks Camara with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Camara tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Girard pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Camara is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gaultier Girard!
Gaultier Girard was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
