Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Renato Gracie (ranked 23439 p4p, 2105 weight class) and John Lennon (ranked 549 p4p, 214 weight class). Gracie comes to the ring accompanied by Hail To The King by Avenged Sevenfold. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lennon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Lennon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lennon's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Gracie cracks Lennon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lennon was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie.

Gracie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gracie tries to throw a body punch but Lennon avoids it by throwing Gracie back against the ropes.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Renato Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie weaves into range and cracks Lennon right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lennon goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Gracie is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
