Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Vasily Grossman (ranked 1260 p4p, 23348 weight class) and Magomed Magomedov (ranked 167 p4p, 667 weight class). Magomed Magomedov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magomedov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grossman, pushing him back against the ropes.
Magomedov is looking to break free of the clinch but Grossman has double underhooks.

Magomedov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Magomedov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Magomedov throws a lazy uppercut
and Grossman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Magomed Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magomedov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Grossman is looking to counter the offense by Magomedov and move into the clinch.

and Grossman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Magomedov has managed to clinch.
Grossman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Magomedov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Magomedov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Grossman thuds his right hand into Magomedov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Magomedov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Grossman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Magomedov.

Grossman throws the left hand but Magomedov avoids the punch easily.
Magomedov throws a fast counter high kick but Grossman manages to duck under it in time.

Magomedov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Grossman tests Magomedov's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Grossman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Magomedov.

Grossman throws a hook but Magomedov avoids it easily.

Grossman tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Magomedov manages to circle out of the way.
Magomedov lands a nice hook to Grossman's body. Grossman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Magomedov has closed the distance and engaged Grossman in a clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Grossman connects with a quick right hand that sends Magomedov tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
