Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vvv Vvv (ranked 25079 p4p, 25001 weight class) and Dame Nitro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Vvv Vvv has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vvv Vvv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dame Nitro!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Nitro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vvv's guard.

Nitro stands up and waves to Vvv to follow him.

and Nitro counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Vvv!
Nitro is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Vvv will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Nitro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Vvv wants to control but Nitro postures up.
Nitro moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Vvv misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Nitro decides to stand back up.

Vvv drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nitro is looking to stand up but Vvv isn't so interested in that idea.
Vvv is fighting to break Nitro's control of his arms but Nitro is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Nitro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vvv is controlling him.

Vvv wants to get up but he can't break Nitro's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nitro kicks Vvv off and gets to his feet.
Nitro slaps away a takedown attempt from Vvv, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And Nitro responds with a good body kick, but Vvv manages to step out the way in time.

Nitro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Nitro perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nitro wants to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nitro shoots and misses

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nitro lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Vvv down.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nitro happy to just control the position for now.
Dame Nitro has got the better of the ground game so far.
Vvv is pushing Nitro's head away, looking to escape. Nitro manages to hold on to the position though.

Nitro stands up.
Nitro shoots in looking for a takedown. Vvv tries to sprawl out of it but Nitro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vvv manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nitro is defended easily by Vvv.
Vvv Vvv has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dame Nitro.

Vvv appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Vvv tries for a takedown but Nitro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vvv Vvv will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nitro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vvv pinned against the cage. Vvv gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vvv throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nitro avoids it.

Vvv keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vvv holds on and takes a little breather.

Well Nitro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
