Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adils Hallbjornsson (ranked 215 p4p, 384 weight class) and Kjetil Olsen (ranked 40 p4p, 59 weight class). Hallbjornsson comes into the arena with Herr Mannelig blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallbjornsson tried to score with a low kick but Olsen checks it.

A little jabbing left from Olsen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Olsen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hallbjornsson on the side of the head.

enabling Hallbjornsson to counter with a crisp jab.
Hallbjornsson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Olsen.

Adils Hallbjornsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Olsen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hallbjornsson.
Hallbjornsson misses with a right hand
and Olsen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hallbjornsson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Olsen sprawling to the canvas! Olsen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hallbjornsson finish him?!
Olsen is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Olsen drops Hallbjornsson with a beautiful combination! Hallbjornsson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Olsen is looking for the KO!

Hallbjornsson throws a head kick but Olsen moves out of range.
Olsen connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hallbjornsson covering up! Olsen comes in with a big uppercut and Hallbjornsson goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

After winning the bout, Kjetil Olsen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
