Manowaru comes to the cage accompanied by Lay Down. Nascimento has chosen Aggressive War Epic Music Collection! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manowaru drops Nascimento with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nascimento looks back up at him and smiles so Manowaru waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Manowaru lands a left and a right that send Nascimento crashing to the mat, dazed. Manowaru thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nascimento fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Manowaru has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nascimento will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
