The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golles closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Golles darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

Golles gets underhooks to prevent Jackson's takedown attempt.
Jackson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Golles is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Golles down to the mat. Golles avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Peter Golles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Jackson.
Golles moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Golles scores with a head kick. Jackson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Golles comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Golles drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Golles makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jackson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Golles after a bit of a struggle.
Golles lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Golles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Golles lands with a nice combination. Jackson backs away looking to recover.

and Golles counters with a head kick that drops Jackson to the mat! Jackson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Jackson is rocked!
Golles steps in with a hook that catches Jackson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Golles follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jackson looks absolutely devastated.
