Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Schmedgar Dimms (ranked 1075 p4p, 481 weight class) and Davdio Branko (ranked 66 p4p, 31 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Schmedgar Dimms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branko throws a body kick that misses.
Dimms seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Branko shoots for a double leg takedown but Dimms sprawls well. He's pushed Branko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Dimms misses the target.
Dimms throws a big shot that misses.
Branko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dimms.
Branko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dimms pinned against the cage. Dimms gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Davdio Branko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dimms throws a hook but Branko blocks it.
Branko misses with a takedown
and Dimms counters by moving into the clinch.
Schmedgar Dimms has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davdio Branko.

Branko wants to take the fight to the mat but Dimms manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dimms digs a right hand into Branko's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Branko's gas tank.

Branko is trying to trip Dimms. He has hold of a leg but Dimms is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Branko persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Branko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dimms swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Branko won't allow Dimms to sweep him here.

Dimms knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Branko on the ground.

Branko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dimms looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dimms looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dimms!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Branko is looking to reverse the position.

Branko tries to roll over but Dimms keeps him under control.
Branko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dimms has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Oh but Branko is tightening it up a little... Dimms has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dimms reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dimms taps out! Nice BJJ there by Branko!
