These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belvedere scores with a hook to the body. Dimms takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Belvedere misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dimms.

Belvedere swings widly with a right hand
and Dimms counters with a good low kick that Belvedere was not able to check.
Belvedere connects with a right hand. Dimms shakes it off.
Belvedere works Dimms's body with a nice hook.
Belvedere swings for the body but Dimms moves out of range.
Dimms unleashes a big counter combination but Belvedere bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dimms uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Belvedere.

Belvedere lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dimms circles away quickly and effectively.
Dimms looks to land a right hand but Belvedere moved out of range.
Dimms gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Dimms counters with a good, hard body kick but Belvedere shrugs it off.
Belvedere throws out a loose jab but Dimms uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dimms pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Belvedere back to the cage. Dimms follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Dimms lands a big uppercut and Belvedere crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Belvedere looks OK. Dimms waves Belvedere back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Belvedere throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dimms counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Belvedere out cold! What a finish! Dimms is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
