Jalbert slips a jab from Kikuta.
Jalbert throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kikuta swings for the body but Jalbert moves out of range.

Kotaro Kikuta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kikuta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jalbert has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jalbert tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kikuta was well out of range. Poor timing from Jalbert.
Kikuta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jalbert.
Jalbert takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kikuta throws the left hand but Jalbert avoids the punch easily.
Jalbert lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kikuta looks to land a right hand but Jalbert moved out of range.
It looked like Jalbert was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kikuta.
Kikuta scores with a head kick.

Kikuta misses with an uppercut. Jalbert saw that one coming.

Kikuta ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Jalbert out cold! The fight is over!

Kotaro Kikuta opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
