Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mack Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stefan Barbu!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbu lands a nice shot that snaps Jackson's head back.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbu, which made it look bad.
Barbu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jackson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jackson throws the kick towards the body but Barbu avoids it.
Barbu lands a lovely overhand right.
Barbu dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Barbu! But no joy.
Barbu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barbu as he avoids it easily.
Barbu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jackson misses with a wild body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Despite the aggression on Barbu's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barbu pinned against the cage. Barbu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Barbu feints a counter leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mack Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Barbu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A jab lands there for Barbu.
Stefan Barbu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barbu moves into range and clinches up with Jackson.
Jackson prevents the takedown attempt.
Barbu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barbu throws a body punch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Barbu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.
A shot to the liver by Barbu. Beautiful body shot.
Jackson misses with a double jab
and Barbu counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Barbu counters with a one-two to the body.
Barbu has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Barbu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Barbu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson.
As Jackson backs off Barbu throws a huge counter combo but Jackson manages to avoid it all.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Barbu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Barbu stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.
Jackson is rocked!
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt.
Barbu is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbu throws a leg kick but Jackson moved away.
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
Jackson misses with a shot to the body
and Barbu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barbu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab.
Barbu tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Some wild striking there from Jackson.
Barbu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barbu misses with a two punch combination.

Barbu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson has a takedown stuffed.
Barbu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Barbu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jackson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Barbu just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Barbu is looking for the big counter here.
Barbu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A jab from Barbu does it's job there.
Barbu walks into a jab.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
As Jackson backs off Barbu throws a huge counter combo but Jackson manages to avoid it all.

Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barbu throws out a counter right but Jackson avoids it with no problem.
Barbu lands a slapping body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Barbu slips the punch.
Barbu lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Barbu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mack Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson swinging wildly here.
Barbu lands with a hook. Jackson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Barbu drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Barbu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barbu lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Barbu has cracked Jackson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Barbu lands another huge swinging hook and Jackson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jackson, before Barbu can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stefan Barbu!
Stefan Barbu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
