Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Lobchov (ranked 2504 p4p, 2041 weight class) and Roger Michael Stanley (ranked 348 p4p, 284 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lobchov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Lobchov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stanley sizes up Lobchov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Stanley lands with an uppercut that bounces Lobchov off the cage and back into range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stanley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lobchov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Stanley has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lobchov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stanley is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lobchov pulls down on the head and he's put Stanley to sleep! This one is all over!
