Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Brannigan (ranked 2499 p4p, 3547 weight class) and Corey McGraugh (ranked 311 p4p, 431 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Brannigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey McGraugh!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGraugh drives through and clinches with Brannigan against the cage.
McGraugh ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McGraugh no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McGraugh has a closed guard, preventing Brannigan from standing up.
Brannigan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McGraugh to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Brannigan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McGraugh pulls down on the head and he's put Brannigan to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Corey McGraugh!
A very excited looking Corey McGraugh rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
