Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Wilson (ranked 4976 p4p, 7096 weight class) and Aung La Tung Min (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aung La Tung Min is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aung La Tung Min!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wilson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tung Min looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Wilson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Tung Min.
Tung Min is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wilson keeps control of the position easily here as Tung Min tries to buck him off.
Wilson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tung Min for as long as he can get away with.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson shoots in and bounces Tung Min off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tung Min swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wilson closes the distance and pushes Tung Min back into the cage.
Tung Min is breathing heavily.

Wilson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Wilson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wilson gets control of Tung Min's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wilson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wilson holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tung Min gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tung Min manages to get himself to full guard.

Sam Wilson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
