The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piano throws a lazy right hand but Cannons sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Cannons misses.
Piano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Piano misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cannons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cannons connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Nick Piano has been cut.
Donk. Piano catches Cannons right on the button with a cross.
A looping hook to the body misses from Piano. Cannons does a little dance to reset his feet.
Piano throws a right hand that misses
and Cannons counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cannons moves out of range of the strikes.

and Cannons counters with a left to the body.
Cannons has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Cannons throws a hook to the side of Piano's head but Piano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Piano counters with a straight right hand.
Piano cracks Cannons with a right hand to the side of the head.

Cannons loads up on a big right hand but Piano slips the punch.
Piano connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Cannons swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cannons throws a looping overhand right but Piano ducks down to avoid it.

enabling Cannons to counter with a crisp jab.
Piano keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cannons moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cannons has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Piano avoids the body shot from Cannons.
Piano dodges the punch combination from Cannons.
Nice jab there from Cannons.

and Cannons counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Cannons connects with a good right hand that stumbles Piano. Piano circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Cannons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Piano throws out the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cannons! But no joy.
Cannons throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Piano throws a hook but Cannons avoids it easily.

and Cannons cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cannons sends Piano crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cannons is motioning to the referee to let Piano up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Piano is rocked!

Nick Piano's cut is getting worse.
Piano is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Cannons doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Piano crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Piano's bad books for that mishap!
