PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Tarbols (ranked 6196 p4p, 5292 weight class) and Scully Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarbols has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Gus Tarbols has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterson drives through and clinches with Tarbols against the cage.

Peterson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Peterson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tarbols can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Peterson is trying to drag Tarbols to the mat but Tarbols just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
