Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Riker (ranked 1545 p4p, 2158 weight class) and Matt Barnes (ranked 195 p4p, 263 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes thows a leg kick but Riker checks it

and Riker counters with a takedown into side control.
Riker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Barnes some visible discomfort.

It looks like Matt Barnes has been cut.
Riker in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Riker is looking to take a break and control but Barnes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That has opened up Matt Barnes's cut even more.
Riker tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The cut above Matt Barnes's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Riker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Barnes down.

Matt Barnes's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Barnes's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
