Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ty Sign (ranked 4831 p4p, 4758 weight class) and Nico Bastoni (ranked 0 p4p, 581 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastoni shoots in but Sign avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ty Sign seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sign clinches with his opponent.

Sign gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bastoni is trying to control the position but Sign postures up.
Bastoni is looking to sweep but instead, Sign has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sign thows a huge punch but Bastoni dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sign thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bastoni's head.
Sign is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Bastoni is not content to let Sign control the position.
Sign not doing much here.
Sign thows a huge punch but Bastoni dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sign looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bastoni with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sign working the head and body with strikes.
Bastoni on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Sign missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Sign is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Sign throwing shots but Bastoni is blocking nicely.
Sign lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bastoni quite badly. Bastoni pulls Sign in close trying to recover. Sign postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bastoni on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bastoni doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
