Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Bundy (ranked 355 p4p, 272 weight class) and Evaristo Jesus (ranked 16 p4p, 3 weight class). Ted Bundy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ted Bundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evaristo Jesus!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Jesus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bundy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bundy is working Jesus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Jesus has his foot on Bundy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bundy works his way back into a safe position though.
Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Ted Bundy will probably get the nod.

It looks like Evaristo Jesus has been cut.

Jesus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bundy on the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jesus looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bundy has picked Jesus up and slammed him! Jesus can't keep hold of the triangle and Bundy manages to pass to side control!

Jesus felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
