And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Rome!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rome checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rome scores with a hook to the body. Catartes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Catartes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rome scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rome lands a nice hook to Catartes's body. Catartes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rome has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Catartes is landing a low percentage of strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Carcarah Catartes will probably get the nod.
