Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Piano (ranked 1471 p4p, 1695 weight class) and Max Strasburg (ranked 217 p4p, 250 weight class). Strasburg has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Max Strasburg will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strasburg slips under a jab from Piano.
Piano punishes Strasburg's body with a nice straight punch.
Nick Piano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Piano keeps the fight on the outside.
Strasburg moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Piano scores with a jab to the body.
Piano's corner calls for a 1-2. Piano obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Strasburg tries to clinch up.
Piano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Piano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Strasburg.
Strasburg gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Piano.
Strasburg misses with a takedown attempt
and Piano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Piano is looking to wear down Strasburg with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Strasburg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Piano steps into range and cracks Strasburg with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Strasburg flops backwards and Piano dives into his guard looking to finish!

Strasburg is rocked!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Strasburg is on top in guard.

Strasburg wants to control from the top but Piano keeps moving.
Piano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Piano looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Strasburg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Piano is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Piano has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Strasburg looking for a guillotine here but Piano defends easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Piano trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Piano wants to control from the top but Strasburg keeps moving.

Piano has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Strasburg to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Piano is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Strasburg pulls down on the head and he's put Piano to sleep! This one is all over!
