Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yeshua Allah (ranked 6364 p4p, 24781 weight class) and Fabian Chapelle (ranked 305 p4p, 338 weight class). Chapelle has chosen Robert Whittaker as his entrance music. Yeshua Allah could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fabian Chapelle's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fabian Chapelle!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapelle lands a leg kick that knocks Allah off balance momentarily.
Allah lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Chapelle closes the distance and pushes Allah back into the cage.
Chapelle has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Allah after a bit of a struggle.
Chapelle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chapelle goes for a takedown attempt but Allah pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yeshua Allah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabian Chapelle.

Chapelle rushes Allah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chapelle jumps guard but Allah stands there with Chapelle around his waist. Chapelle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Allah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice shot lands for Allah.
Chapelle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Allah's corner calls for a 1-2. Allah obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Chapelle is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chapelle dives in for a single leg takedown but Allah sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Chapelle is still on wobbly legs! Can Allah finish him?

Allah scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Chapelle seems to have recovered his senses.

Allah lands a left and a right that send Chapelle crashing to the mat, dazed. Allah thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Fabian Chapelle has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Allah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yeshua Allah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chapelle throws the kick towards the body but Allah avoids it.
We've been told by Allah's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Chapelle doesn't manage to clinch there - Allah circles away.

Chapelle moves into the clinch successfully.

Chapelle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Allah connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chapelle. Chapelle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Chapelle avoids the body shot from Allah.
Allah slaps away a takedown attempt from Chapelle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Allah!
Allah avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Allah throws a series of punches but Chapelle avoids them all with ease.
Chapelle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Allah defends well and Chapelle ends up having to push Allah into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A jab lands there for Allah.
Allah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chapelle moves away.

and Allah counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Allah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Chapelle moves forwards but Allah connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chapelle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Allah swivels and escapes.
Allah works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Chapelle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Allah swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Chapelle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Allah's guard.

Allah throws an elbow that misses. Chapelle uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Allah's guard. Nice move by Chapelle!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chapelle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Allah has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chapelle has managed to get both his arms back between Allah's legs - danger averted.
Chapelle is looking to work some ground and pound but Allah has wrist control.

Chapelle throws a sloppy strike and Allah has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Chapelle is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Allah!

A relieved looking Yeshua Allah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
