PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dalinar Kholin (ranked 4088 p4p, 7147 weight class) and Kung Lee (ranked 529 p4p, 692 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dalinar Kholin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kung Lee!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kholin misses with the combination.
Kholin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kholin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kholin jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kholin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kholin.

Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lee looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Lee pulls guard.
Kholin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kholin stops Lee from standing up.

Kholin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee throws an elbow that misses. Kholin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lee's guard. Nice move by Kholin!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kholin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kholin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kholin advances position into side control!
Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kholin misses with the ground and pound.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Kholin swings around for an armbar but Lee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kholin's guard.
Lee wants to control from the top but Kholin keeps moving.
Lee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Lee gets to his feet. Kholin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oooooh!!! Kholin has knocked Lee down with a huge combo! Kholin steps away and waves a wobbly Lee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lee is rocked!
Kholin catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Kholin finish him?

Kholin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Lee to the canvas! Lee doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kholin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
