PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Takeru Kubota (ranked 802 p4p, 3866 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 97 p4p, 426 weight class). Kubota comes to the ring accompanied by Devilman No Uta (1972). Nik Snow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 23 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nik Snow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow walks into a stiff left hand from Kubota.

Kubota throws a looping overhand right but Snow ducks down to avoid it.
We've been informed that Snow has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Snow misses with a hook.

Snow throws a low kick but Kubota moves out of range easily.

Snow takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Kubota takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Snow cracks Kubota with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kubota walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Snow checks a leg kick.
It seemed like Snow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Takeru Kubota will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Nik Snow.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
