Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiril Bohizdar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zhang Jun!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jun avoids the body shot from Bohizdar.
Jun uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bohizdar.
It seemed like Jun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bohizdar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bohizdar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bohizdar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jun manages to avoid it.
Bohizdar lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Zhang Jun has been cut.
Jun looks to score with a jab to the body but Bohizdar is just out of range.
Bohizdar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bohizdar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jun.
Bohizdar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jun swinging wildly here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bohizdar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bohizdar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bohizdar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jun.

and Jun counters with a stiff right hand.

Bohizdar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jun on the side of the head.
Jun avoids the head kick by Bohizdar.
Kiril Bohizdar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jun scores with a jab.
Zhang Jun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bohizdar.
Jun lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bohizdar's sensitive parts.
Jun misses with a series of wild punches.
Jun moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Bohizdar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jun can't do much from the bottom here.
Jun is not content to let Bohizdar control the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bohizdar wants to advance to full mount but Jun doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Jun controls Bohizdar momentarily but Bohizdar frees himself.
Bohizdar trying to control but Jun is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bohizdar stands and throws Jun's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bohizdar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jun keeps working.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bohizdar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jun knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jun struggling a bit here.

Bohizdar goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jun rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bohizdar's guard! Nice work there by Jun!

That was a close round but I would say that Kiril Bohizdar will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Zhang Jun's cut.
That's time! Bohizdar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bohizdar throws out a loose jab but Jun uses good head movement to avoid it.

Zhang Jun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bohizdar throws a lazy right hand but Jun sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bohizdar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jun manages to avoid it.
Bohizdar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jun can pounce on him.
Jun takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jun fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jun throws a chopping leg kick but Bohizdar manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bohizdar takes a kick to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bohizdar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jun looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Oh Bohizdar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bohizdar misses with an uppercut
and Jun counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Bohizdar scores with the left hand. Jun knows he should have avoided that one.
Jun throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jun drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jun blocks a head kick by Bohizdar.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bohizdar takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bohizdar throws a big shot that misses.
Jun cracks Bohizdar with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
