Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Saenchai Sor (ranked 1874 p4p, 1257 weight class) and Atticus Finch (ranked 186 p4p, 137 weight class). Finch is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ghetto Bird- Ice Cube. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Atticus Finch was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saenchai Sor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Atticus Finch!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Finch misses with a hook.
We've been informed that Finch has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A good leg kick by Sor.
Sor thows a left - swing and a miss!
Finch misses with a looping right.
Finch fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Finch goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Atticus Finch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sor is looking to chop away at Finch's legs.
Sor walks into a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finch, as that shot connected.
Finch takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd cheers as Sor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Finch doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Finch throws a sloppy head kick and Sor moves out of range easily.
Sor wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Finch lands with a cross.
Sor walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Donk. Finch catches Sor right on the button with a cross.

Finch moves out of range of the strikes.

Sor on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Finch goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Finch is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sor had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Sor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Finch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sor scrambles back to his feet.
Sor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sor looks to score with a jab to the body but Finch is just out of range.

Finch connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Finch misses with a hook.
Sor ducks under a wild hook from Finch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Finch.
Sor misses with a looping right.
Finch throws a jab when Sor was well out of range.
Sor checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Finch cracks Sor with a good jab.

Sor slips a jab and a cross from Finch.
Finch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Finch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Finch moves out of range as Sor strikes.
Finch looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Finch throws an overhand right that lands on Sor's shoulder, as Sor tries to avoid the shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Finch.
Sor throws a push kick but Finch slaps the foot to one side.
Sor blocks a jab.
Sor connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Finch's hands.
Finch connects with a body shot.
Sor throws a right hand that Finch ducks under and follows up with a left that Finch also avoids with ease.

and Sor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sor.
Sor misses with some punches.
Finch is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sor is keeping busy.
Sor fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Finch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Finch's corner calls for a 1-2. Finch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finch, as that shot connected.

Sor is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Finch lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sor up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Finch from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sor's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Atticus Finch!
