The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong moves out of range of the strikes.
Chong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pjetlic counters with a nice uppercut.

Chong rushes Pjetlic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pjetlic scores with a hook to the body.
Chong misses with a knee to the head.
Chong has Pjetlic pushed against the cage.

Chong drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chong is controlling the pace.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pjetlic. Chong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pjetlic avoids the head kick by Chong.

Chong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pjetlic was covering up waiting for the punch and Chong finishes the takedown easily into guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Maro Pjetlic dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Pjetlic throws a jab but it's blocked by Chong.
Chong misses with a wild body shot.
Pjetlic doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Chong misses with a head kick.
A nice side step and Pjetlic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Pjetlic counters with a stiff right hand.
Pjetlic looks to throw the jab but Chong is out of range.
Ching Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chong looks for a takedown but Pjetlic sprawls well.

Chong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pjetlic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Pjetlic lands a nice hook to Chong's body. Chong takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Pjetlic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pjetlic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chong sprawling to the canvas! Chong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pjetlic finish him?!

Chong is rocked!
Pjetlic connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Chong covering up! Pjetlic comes in with a big uppercut and Chong goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
