The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trottsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cozad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Trottsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cozad, pushing him back against the cage.
Cozad is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Trottsky misses with the head strike.
Cozad pushes Trottsky back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cozad scores with a shot to the side of Trottsky's head.
Trottsky drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cozad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Trottsky misses with a hook from the clinch.

Cozad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trottsky on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trottsky tries to clinch there but Cozad circles away.
Cozad lands a brutal uppercut that launches Trottsky off his feet! Trottsky tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
