The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda tries to clinch but Disson is having none of it.
Disson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Panda avoids it really well and circles away.

Disson drives through and clinches with Panda against the cage.

Disson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Panda looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Panda makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Panda.

Disson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Panda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Disson defends it easily.

Panda throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Disson escapes and throws Panda's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Disson controlling the position easily from mount.
Panda tries to reverse the position but Disson maintains control.
We've been hearing that Disson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Panda wants to control but Disson is having none of it.
Panda is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Disson is staying active.

Panda takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Disson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
