Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ok Lol (ranked 3032 p4p, 3817 weight class) and Carlton Yonge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonge throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lol on the side of the head.
Lol moves out of range of the body kick.
Yonge keeps the fight on the outside.
Yonge circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yonge tries to counter with a clinch but Lol shakes him off and moves away.

Yonge gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Yonge landing knees to the body.

Yonge lands a takedown into guard.
Lol tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Yonge is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lol doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yonge.

That's time! Lol's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lol takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yonge scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lol doesn't seem bothered though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lol tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yonge is stalling here. Lol is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yonge seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lol has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Yonge is looking to regain half guard here but Lol keeps moving and retains side control.

Lol is looking to take a break and control but Yonge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Yonge manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Yonge is looking to control Lol's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yonge avoid being mounted?
Yonge has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lol will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Yonge is looking for a triangle but Lol pushes his legs off easily.

Yonge bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lol's guard.

Yonge slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Yonge tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yonge has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Yonge is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lol defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Yonge is working for a rear naked choke. Lol is not defending it well and Yonge has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lol refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lol's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
