Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bakabaka Shi (ranked 4893 p4p, 4945 weight class) and So Slow (ranked 514 p4p, 517 weight class). Bakabaka Shi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bakabaka Shi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, So Slow!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slow goes for a double leg but Shi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shi continues to drive forward.
Shi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shi cracks a nice hook into Slow's ribs.

Slow looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Shi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Slow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Slow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shi sprawls well. Shi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slow gets slowly back to his feet.
Bakabaka Shi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of So Slow.
Slow doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Shi to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slow misses with a takedown attempt
and Shi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Shi lands a nice hook to Slow's body. Slow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Slow 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Slow dives in and grabs Shi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shi pushes down on Slow's head and hops out.
Shi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Slow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shi scores with the left hand. Slow knows he should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slow shoots in for a takedown but Shi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Slow closes the distance and clinches up with Shi, looking for a takedown. Slow pushes Shi against the cage but Shi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shi tests Slow's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Slow is rocked!
Shi lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Slow up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Shi from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slow's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bakabaka Shi!
