The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares throws out a loose jab but Barkley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tavares misses with an uppercut.
Tavares moves out of range as Barkley strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Tavares on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

enabling Barkley to counter with a crisp jab.
Tavares throws an overhand right that lands on Barkley's shoulder, as Barkley tries to avoid the shot.
Barkley moves out of range of the strikes.
Barkley is trying to counter with his kicks.
Barkley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barkley there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tavares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barkley moves away.
