Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gee Gutsu (ranked 4262 p4p, 3816 weight class) and Darrel Lacey (ranked 569 p4p, 537 weight class). Gee Gutsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gee Gutsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darrel Lacey!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lacey tries to clinch up.
Lacey darts in and clinches Gutsu up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Lacey - that landed with a thud.
Lacey misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lacey lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Gee Gutsu has been cut.
Gutsu tries to score a body lock takedown but Lacey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lacey scores with a nice hook to the head.
A short right from Lacey on the inside.
Gutsu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lacey walks away with a smile on his face. Gutsu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lacey pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gutsu back to the cage. Lacey follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lacey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lacey moves in looking to clinch but Gutsu pushes him off.
Lacey clinches.
Lacey misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lacey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lacey.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gutsu tries to score a body lock takedown but Lacey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gee Gutsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gutsu lands a takedown into guard.
Gutsu wants to control from the top but Lacey keeps moving.
Gutsu won't allow Lacey to sweep him here.
Gutsu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lacey dives on top into guard.
Gutsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lacey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gutsu is looking for a triangle but Lacey pushes his legs off easily.

Gutsu is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lacey throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gutsu's body to avoid the submission. Gutsu has instead reached around Lacey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gutsu arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
