Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dax Crumper (ranked 3981 p4p, 1928 weight class) and Kazuo Takashi (ranked 201 p4p, 108 weight class). Takashi has chosen 吉田兄弟 Rising as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dax Crumper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kazuo Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takashi pushes Crumper up against the cage in a clinch.
Takashi leaning his opponent against the cage.

Takashi pulls guard successfully.
Takashi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crumper.
Crumper is stalling in the full guard.
Takashi has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tez’s Stand N Bang !. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crumper trying to control the position from guard on top but Takashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crumper tries to free his leg and advance position but Takashi is retaining full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Crumper stands and throws Takashi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Takashi tries to bench press Crumper off him but Crumper keeps the position.
Crumper trying to control the position but Takashi is working away.

Crumper tries for a kimura but Takashi is defending well.
Takashi tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crumper controls the position.
Crumper looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Takashi is trying to control Crumper's posture but Crumper avoids it.

Crumper is trying to get an arm triangle but Takashi is defending well.
Crumper wants to control for a moment but Takashi uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Takashi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crumper.
Crumper trying to control from Takashi's half guard. Takashi has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Takashi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Crumper working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Crumper preventing the sweep.
Crumper wants to control from the top but Takashi keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Crumper shoots in looking for a takedown. Takashi tries to sprawl out of it but Crumper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takashi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Takashi moves into the clinch.
Takashi has Crumper pressed against the cage.

Takashi gets control of Crumper's arms and successfully pulls guard. Takashi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crumper engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Takashi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Takashi keeping moving, preventing Crumper from controlling successfully.
Takashi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Takashi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Crumper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Takashi is keeping the position for now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kazuo Takashi dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Crumper circles away from the clinch attempt.

Crumper rushes Takashi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A body shot lands from Takashi.
Crumper tries to pull guard but Takashi forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Takashi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Takashi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Crumper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Crumper trying to control the position from guard on top but Takashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Takashi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Crumper controls from within his opponent's guard.

Takashi looking for a triangle here. Crumper is fighting it but it looks tight! Takashi pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Crumper is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Kazuo Takashi!
Kazuo Takashi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
