Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Spite (ranked 901 p4p, 1331 weight class) and Lukas Chomsli (ranked 137 p4p, 201 weight class). Chomsli has chosen Tapout as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lukas Chomsli!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spite.
Lukas Chomsli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chomsli shoots in and gets a takedown into Spite's guard.
Chomsli works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Chomsli seems to be looking for submissions.
Spite gets full guard.
Spite looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Chomsli not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spite looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chomsli trying to control the position from guard on top but Spite is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Spite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chomsli doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chomsli manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Spite seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Spite has momentary wrist control but Chomsli slips an elbow through the middle.

Chomsli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spite swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chomsli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chomsli won't allow Spite to sweep him here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chomsli's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Spite is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chomsli throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Spite's body to avoid the submission. Spite has instead reached around Chomsli's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Spite arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
