Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mizark Coleman (ranked 4090 p4p, 3817 weight class) and Jorlan Vieira (ranked 141 p4p, 130 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by The Roid Rage Holla. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mizark Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jorlan Vieira!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman tries for a takedown but Vieira sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mizark Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Coleman clinches with his opponent.
Vieira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vieira dodges an elbow strike from Coleman.
Vieira tries to break free but Coleman pushes him back against the cage.

Vieira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Coleman fails with a takedown attempt.
Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vieira pinned against the cage. Vieira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mizark Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vieira throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vieira. Coleman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coleman shoots in but Vieira avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vieira throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Vieira takes the fight into the clinch.
Vieira avoids a wild elbow strike from Coleman.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for Vieira to work.
Vieira scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Coleman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Vieira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jorlan Vieira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coleman tries to clinch but Vieira moves out of range.
Vieira lands a jab to the nose.
Coleman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vieira counters with a right hand to the body.

Coleman looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Vieira striking off his back but it's not causing Coleman any problems.
Vieira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Coleman postures up.
Coleman with a nice head shot there.
Vieira is trying to control the position but Coleman postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman wants to control from the top but Vieira keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coleman works over Vieira with some ground and pound from guard.
Vieira wants to stand and escape but Coleman is having none of it.
Vieira is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Coleman lands a couple of digs.
Vieira wants to stand up but Coleman is controlling him.
Coleman postures up and lands a big shot to Vieira's brow.
Vieira keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully.

Coleman distracts Vieira with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coleman is working Vieira over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Coleman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Coleman lands a couple of elbows.
Vieira not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Coleman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Coleman postures up and lands a big shot to Vieira's brow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vieira can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vieira takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Coleman looks up at the clock and then as Vieira takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Coleman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coleman cracks Vieira with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Vieira is rocked!
You can see the frustration on Vieira's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Vieira is still in real trouble! Can Coleman finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mizark Coleman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Coleman moves into range and clinches up with Vieira.
Vieira seems to have recovered his senses.

Coleman pulls guard successfully.
Coleman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Coleman wants to control from the top but Vieira keeps moving.
Coleman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Coleman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vieira's guard.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vieira scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Coleman manages to mount him!
Coleman lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Vieira! Coleman sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Vieira and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mizark Coleman!
During a confident post fight interview, Mizark Coleman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
