The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoenfeld changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sneakers tries to avoid it but Shoenfeld manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sneakers to the ground. Sneakers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sneakers appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Sneakers punishes Shoenfeld's body with a nice straight punch.
Sneakers lands with a straight right. Shoenfeld didn't see that one coming.
Sneakers works the jab nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Sneakers. No joy for Shoenfeld on that attempt.
Sneakers is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Shoenfeld darts in looking for a takedown but Sneakers gets double underhooks and turns Shoenfeld into the cage.
Squeaky Sneakers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Shoenfeld.
Sneakers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sneakers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shoenfeld will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shoenfeld closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sneakers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shoenfeld stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sneakers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Shoenfeld shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sneakers sprawls well. Sneakers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shoenfeld gets slowly back to his feet.
Sneakers scores with the left hand. Shoenfeld knows he should have avoided that one.

Shoenfeld fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Donk. Sneakers catches Shoenfeld right on the button with a cross.
Brett Shoenfeld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sneakers lands a jab-cross combination.

Sneakers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Shoenfeld is rocked!
Sneakers connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Shoenfeld covering up! Sneakers comes in with a big uppercut and Shoenfeld goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
