Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Piano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Cannons!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piano slips a jab from Cannons.
Cannons looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cannons throws a hook to the side of Piano's head but Piano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cannons bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Nick Piano has been cut.
Piano looks to land a left hand but Cannons moved out of range nicely.
Cannons slips under a jab.
A jab from Cannons misses.
Piano swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Cannons circles away from the clinch attempt.
Piano has managed to clinch.
Piano pulls guard.
Cannons has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Piano to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cannons is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Piano pulls down on the head and he's put Cannons to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Piano!
Nick Piano tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
