Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Strasburg (ranked 6047 p4p, 5081 weight class) and Johnny Clark (ranked 628 p4p, 571 weight class). Strasburg comes to the cage accompanied by Seven Nation Army. Max Strasburg could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Clark's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Clark lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Strasburg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clark was covering up waiting for the punch and Strasburg finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strasburg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's time! Strasburg's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Clark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Strasburg has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Max Strasburg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Clark looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Clark is stalling here. Strasburg is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Clark seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Strasburg has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Strasburg uses his free foot to push down on Clark's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Clark.

That was a close second round but I would say that Max Strasburg will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Strasburg is working to tighten his grip on Clark's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Clark has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Strasburg is really squeezing tight and eventually Clark passes out! Strasburg breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
