Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jantje Beton (ranked 1802 p4p, 2409 weight class) and Billy Wilson (ranked 243 p4p, 316 weight class). Wilson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Under the knife. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson blocks a jab.

Beton has Wilson up against the cage in a clinch.

Beton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Wilson has Beton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Beton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jantje Beton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Wilson.

Wilson decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Beton manages to get himself to full guard.

Wilson postures up in Beton's guard and throws a big left but Beton blocks it.
Beton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Beton is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Beton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wilson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Wilson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Beton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
Beton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Beton tries to hold on but Wilson postures up.

Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wilson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Wilson extends the arm and Beton is forced to tap!
