The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordquist looks to land a left hand but Meshkov moved out of range nicely.
Nordquist looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Meshkov works the jab nicely.
Meshkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nordquist throws a hook to the side of Meshkov's head but Meshkov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nordquist takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nordquist throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nordquist tries to bum rush Meshkov with a series of wild strikes but Meshkov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Meshkov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Meshkov.
Meshkov lands a nice shot that snaps Nordquist's head back.

Nordquist connects with a good right hand that stumbles Meshkov. Meshkov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nordquist walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Nordquist limp body while Meshkov jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
