The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voorheis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Derk Voorheis has been cut.
Voorheis shoots for a takedown but Nguyen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Voorheis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nguyen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Voorheis working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Voorheis has an Americana. Nguyen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Voorheis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Voorheis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
