Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Chandler (ranked 6531 p4p, 4132 weight class) and Tom Muller (ranked 474 p4p, 380 weight class). Tom Muller struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Muller!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller misses with a head kick.
Chandler looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Muller getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Muller listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
A jab lands there for Muller.
Muller scores with a head kick. Chandler tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Chandler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Muller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chandler scrambles back to his feet.
Chandler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tom Muller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chandler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muller is trying to stand back up but Chandler is controlling him

Chandler is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Muller is looking to escape.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Chandler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Muller wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Muller goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Muller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Muller tries a head kick but it misses.
Chandler feinted with a counter takedown.

Muller stalks Chandler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chandler's face. Chandler staggers backwards, shaken.

Chandler is rocked!
Muller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Chandler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chandler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Muller as he jumps to the side.
Muller lands a really nice looking cross but Chandler seems unphased.
Muller scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Muller throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chandler's head.

Muller rushes Chandler with punches - Chandler moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Chandler goes down! Muller follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
