Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Alcala (ranked 283 p4p, 885 weight class) and Ricco Torres (ranked 3 p4p, 37 weight class). Alcala's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Leonard Cohen - Everybody Knows. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres misses with a series of wild punches.
Alcala bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Alcala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Torres ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A thudding body kick lands there by Torres!
Alcala showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Torres.
Alcala plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Alcala misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Alcala takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Torres swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alcala throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alcala. Torres does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alcala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Torres takes a swing at Alcala's ribcage but misses.
Alcala throws a hook but Torres avoids it easily.
Torres has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Alcala finds it's way through Torres's defenses.
Alcala moves out of range as Torres throws a body kick.
Torres misses with an uppercut. Alcala saw that one coming.
Alcala lands an overhand right.
Torres throws a jab when Alcala was well out of range.
Alcala scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Alcala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Alcala has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Torres looks to land a right hand but Alcala moved out of range.
Torres avoids the head kick by Alcala.

Torres will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Torres just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAlcala.

and Torres cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Alcala ducks under a wild hook from Torres.
