The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouellette throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Franklyn throws out a loose jab but Ouellette uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ouellette scores with a hook to the body. Franklyn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Franklyn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ouellette fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Franklyn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Franklyn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ouellette tries to counter with a clinch but Franklyn shakes him off and moves away.
Franklyn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ouellette moves away.
Franklyn misses the shot to the body.
Franklyn scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Guy Ouellette has been cut.

Franklyn drops Ouellette with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ouellette looks back up at him and smiles so Franklyn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Franklyn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ouellette.
Ouellette is still on wobbly legs! Can Franklyn finish him?
Franklyn lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ouellette up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Franklyn from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ouellette's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
