Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichioka Kaori (ranked 5340 p4p, 5151 weight class) and Pedro Bonzela Franco (ranked 532 p4p, 521 weight class). The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaori digs a good body shot into Bonzela Franco's ribs.
Nice uppercut there from Kaori.
Bonzela Franco shoots in but no luck this time.
Bonzela Franco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bonzela Franco misses with a double jab
and Kaori counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Pedro Bonzela Franco has been cut.
Bonzela Franco throws a sloppy head kick
and Kaori connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bonzela Franco tries to move into range but Kaori moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kaori is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kaori lands a big uppercut and Bonzela Franco crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bonzela Franco looks OK. Kaori waves Bonzela Franco back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonzela Franco gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Kaori points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Bonzela Franco wakes up just in time to hear Kaori thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ichioka Kaori!
During a confident post fight interview, Ichioka Kaori thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
